The Torre Branca is the best way to see Milan by the sky!
Designed by Gio Ponti, the Torre Branca is considered to be a real work of art “where modern architecture and new techniques find common ground” Slender and transparent, a real architectural “challenge”, it was constructed in record time, in just two and a half months in 1933, for the V Threeyearly exhibition, together with six large temporary “isolated arches”, designed by Sironi.
Milan thus became the only city in Europe to hold the “Three-yearly international exhibition of modern decorative and industrial arts and modern architecture”.
