The Sforza Castle Museums
Since, 1896, the Sforza Castle has hosted one of the vastest artistic collections in the city. The combo ticket will grant you access to the Ancient Art Museum, the Sforza Castle Art Gallery, the Museum of Michelangelo's Pietà Rondanini, the Museum of Decorative Arts, the Musical Instruments Museum and the Museum of Prehistory and Protohistory.
Museo del Novecento
The Museo del Novecento (Museum of the Twentieth Century) is a structure of 8500 square metres in piazza del Duomo with about 400 works of contemporary art on display, including paintings, sculptures and installations.
Achaeological Museum
Housed in a unique architectural environment, the former convent of the Monastero Maggiore of San Maurizio founded in the eighth century AD, in the Archaeological Museum you will discover traces of the history of ancient Milan.
Natural History Museum
The Natural History Museum, the oldest museum in Milano, includes seven sections: Botany, Entomology, Mineralogy, Palaeontology, Paletnology, Invertebrate Zoology and Vertebrate Zoology. Don't miss Hall 7 with the dinosaur skeletons.
Modern Art Gallery
The Gallery of Modern Art collections boast a series of masterpieces spanning from Canova to Renoir, Van Gogh, Manet, Fattori and Segantini, Picasso and Matisse, together with a group of ancient artefacts from the Far East.
Civic Aquarium
At the Civic Aquarium in Milano you can admire over a hundred species of fish, crustaceans, molluscs and echinoderms from the Mediterranean and the Red Sea, plus rare tropical and freshwater fish. You can even see them from below, when you are in the glass tunnel.
