Milan Linate Airport is the third international airport of Milan, behind Malpensa Airport and Orio al Serio Airport, and the fifth busiest airport in Italy.

Linate Airport is officially called Airport Enrico Forlanini, in commemoration of the Italian inventor and aeronautical pioneer. It is the closest airport to the center of Milan, and therefore the easiest one to reach by car, bus or train.

Linate Airport Shuttle Bus

A comfortable and cheap bus connection between Milan Linate Airport and Milan Central Station (via Dateo). Linate shuttle buses run from early in the morning until late at night, approximately every 30 minutes, from Monday to Sunday. Journey time is 25 minutes and the price of a single ticket is € 7.

Taxi

Many are the taxi services available at Milan Linate Airport. The Taxi docks are located at ARRIVALS, ground floor, exit 5. The ride costs between 30€ and 40€ and the travel time is around 15 minutes.

 

Urban buses

There are two local urban buses connecting Milan Linate Airport with San Babila metro station; the  73 and X73. The 73 line runs every day of the week, departing every 10 minutes. The bus X73 runs every 20 minutes from Monday to Friday. These two bus lines are the cheapest way of travelling from the Airport to Milan and viceversa, however they can be very crowded, so consider whether it could be a good travel option for you, especially if you are travelling with luggages.
